Myerstown NA Production Human Resources People Partners Site Lead
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Myerstown NA Production Human Resources People Partner Site Lead are to:
The incumbent will develop and execute the site’s people strategy including organizational design & development, transformation, leadership & talent management, talent acquisition, workforce planning, change management and support HR Model Partner with US Employee Relations Team to ensure sustainable employee and labor relations and engagement at the site Coach leaders to grow world-class leaders and talent, continuing to advance site capability and competitive edge Leading and support projects / initiatives from business or HR. The NA Production HR People Partners flow to the assignment based on knowledge, expertise, development and availability allowing for an agile flow from home teams to work teams.
A focal point for the leadership team and the business: NA Production HR People Partners regularly connecting to a specific business and understanding the challenges and needs from a people perspective.
Act as a trusted advisor for site leadership team, a steward of the company culture, foster employee engagement, and champion inclusion Although primary support for Myerstown site this role will also partner and lead across multiple divisions and locations (within the Agile Pods ) including; coaching and mentoring Production HR PPs on work allocate projects/work, support NA HR Production HR People Partner Lead with hiring process, onboarding new Production HRPPs. This role will be responsible for supporting the Myerstown and Pittsburgh location, with a core focus on Myerstown and oversight across the Indianola, Saxonburg and Ohara sites.
- Co-create and execute the site people strategy based on site priorities and the global / regional framework, provide site input into global workforce planning;
- Drive all HR topics connected to activities that concern safety, health and attractivity of site;
- Advise, coach, co-create, and challenge site leadership team members and other critical positions to continue to advance the capability and competitiveness of the site;
- Coach the SLT to continuously improve effectiveness in decision making;
- Provide insight and recommendations to Site Head and Regional VP on SLT Talent and staffing to maximize site results;
- Develop and execute people strategy in partnership with Site Leadership Team by tailoring global/ regional enablers to site specific cultural elements;
- Share best practices with global/ regional partners and country HR Community;
- Leadership at both site and department levels to develop and execute people strategy, measure, and continuously improve to deliver strong engagement;
- Brings in outside-in consultative perspective to challenge status-quo and enriches solution-findings with diverse perspective based on market trend;
- On demand support through AskHR platform on individual cases and "ad hoc" HR topics that require local HR expertise in consultation with HR subject matter experts as needed Identify opportunities to proactively share relevant HR information and solve for frequently asked questions through HR communication channels and self-service resources;
- As part of a flexible & agile team, participate and lead large and/or complex projects and transformation initiatives creating solutions responding to changing business needs in cooperation with HR Business Partners, HR Operations & HR Expert Areas;
Talent Management:
- Identify and execute talent management strategy on site level esp. fostering an inclusive mindset aiming for an accelerated development of top talent pools in leadership roles, including developing successors for critical roles, career mapping for key talent, upskilling identification and identification and development of key capabilities to close gaps;
- Enable and activate transformative leadership behaviors that inspire our people and accelerate transformation of the business Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition;
- Apply and steer strategic workforce plans for the site, ensure contingency plans for the business strategy by proactively anticipating market developments and providing actionable insights;
- Partner with leaders to identify critical roles (and advising on approach to identify critical roles) in order to build external talent pipeline;
- Develop a talent acquisition strategy to acquire and top talent at the site to build a world class organization;
- Guide leaders to assess talent against performance requirements to continuously raise the bar including an approach to make/buy/retain/coach out talent Reorganization;
- Fully accountable for steering/implementing site reorganization/restructures with site leadership in accordance with business strategy;
- Employee relations/ site representation Partner with Employee Relations team to ensure sustainable employee relations and full compliance with applicable employment legislation and a healthy work environment and community;
- Where applicable, partner with local associations.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in business or HR experience;
- English language fluency;
- Knowledge and experience in state and federal labor laws and compliance;
- Team-oriented leadership skills;
- Understanding of complex business issues and strategies;
- Understanding of financial impacts derived from HR decisions and policies Strong collaboration / partnering skills & influencing skills / courage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years including HR experience; experience in different HR functions advantageous.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $136,936 to $205,405. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
